This is a well-established horticulture business with a strong focus on safety, efficiency and continuous improvement. We are seeking a capable and experienced Spray Rig and Tractor Operator to join a progressive horticultural operation based in Bowen.
This role is primarily focused on the safe and efficient operation of modern spray equipment and tractors. Key duties include the accurate application of crop protection products using boom spray equipment, as well as the mixing and handling of chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines. Key attributes: Previous spray application experience preferred; Chemcert accreditation required; Proven experience operating tractors and farm machinery; Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
