You will lead the development and execution of policy and advocacy strategies on behalf of Australia’s livestock export industry. ALEC represents exporters who are global leaders in animal welfare and supply chain assurance, operating in highly regulated and scrutinised international markets. Key responsibilities include: Leading ALEC’s policy and advocacy strategy across regulatory, trade and integrity frameworks; Acting as a senior interface with key regulators; Developing high-quality, evidence-based policy positions and submissions; Engaging directly with member companies on priority issues and emerging risks.
