Yarding: 7290 Change: -2899
The market remained competitive at Roma Saleyards with a reduced yarding just under of 7,300 head of cattle.
The laneways were packed, with all the regular processors, feedlotters and backgrounders actively bidding throughout the chilly day.
Prices continued to climb, the market dearer across all categories.
Cattle were drawn primarily from the local supply district, including Roma, Mitchell, Wallumbilla, Injune, Taroom and Morven.
The yarding also featured cattle from the northern regions including Mount Isa and Longreach as well as far south as Middleton and Marla in South Australia.
The quality and selection of cattle on offer once again showcased Roma Saleyards as the marketplace of choice.
