LOW pressure fronts and troughs brought rainfall and storms across the south-west and the south-east of Australia.
Weekly totals of 5 to 25 mm with some locally higher totals, were recorded across south-west Western Australia, Victoria and parts of southern New South Wales.
Much of Tasmania and coastal south-west Western Australia had weekly totals between 25 mm and 100 mm, with some locally higher falls.
Light rainfall was recorded along parts of the east coast and across some inland areas in the north-east.
The highest confirmed weekly total (at a Bureau gauge) was 121.9 mm at Windy Harbour (WA), which also included the highest daily total of 73.2 mm, in the 24 hours to 9 am on 6 September.
