More choice and selling options for Inverell livestock producers

LIVESTOCK producers in the Inverell region now have more choice and stronger competition, with Nutrien Ag Solutions Inverell re-entering livestock sales.

The move secures a selling position at the Inverell Regional Livestock Exchange in partnership with Nutrien Boulton’s and extends Nutrien’s footprint across Inverell and surrounding areas, reinforcing competition and creating new opportunities for local producers.

Nutrien Inverell Livestock Agent, Jake Rosten and the local livestock team on the auctioneering platform at IRLX.

Nutrien Inverell Branch Manager, Ash Faint said the decision reflects confidence in the region and a commitment to its livestock sector.

“This investment demonstrates our belief in the strength of the local market. The livestock team has a proven track record across the New England, and their experience and buyer reach will deliver strong outcomes for producers,” Mr Faint said.

To strengthen the local team, experienced livestock agent Jake Rosten has joined Nutrien Inverell.

Jake brings more than five years of experience across Northwest NSW and Southern Queensland and is known for his professionalism, integrity and results-driven service.

Jake will manage livestock sales through IRLX and support clients with a full suite of marketing options, including paddock sales, feedlot sales, over-the-hook programs and AuctionsPlus.

“I’m excited to be part of Nutrien’s return to livestock marketing in Inverell. Working closely with producers and offering flexible selling options is something I’m passionate about. This expansion creates more opportunities to market livestock the right way, at the right time,” Mr Rosten said.

Jake will be supported by the experienced Nutrien Boulton’s team, including Simon Newton, Mathew Larkings, Dan Coulthurst, Miles Archdale and Maddie Davidson.

Together, the team has a proven track record of delivering outstanding results for clients across a diverse range of livestock-selling methods and marketing platforms.

This capability is further supported by direct access to North Coast livestock markets through the Wauchope office and saleyards led by John Corrigan and Andrew Lawrence, in addition to the strength and reach of the wider Nutrien agent network.

Nutrien will sell at the cattle sale every Tuesday and the sheep and lamb sale every second Tuesday at IRLX.

This initiative further strengthens Nutrien Ag Solutions Inverell’s ability to deliver a truly well-rounded business experience for our clients, enhancing our established agronomy, merchandise and real estate services with an elite livestock marketing and selling capability.
