As a famous coach once said, “Some say footy is a matter of life and death, but  I can assure you, it’s much, much more important than that.”

We couldn’t agree more.

Footy season is back, and so is Beef Central’s NRL & AFL Tipping Challenge.

Whether you’re locking in tips from the ute, the yards or the office, this is your chance to prove your expertise extends from the cattle paddock to the footy field and claim national bragging rights – and win a great prize – in the process.

Scoring is simple:

1 point for every correct tip

Tip a perfect round (8 from 8) and earn a two-point bonus (regular season only, not finals)

If you miss a round you’ll automatically receive AWAY teams for that round

It’s a private competition, so you’ll need to take part to follow the action.

It’s free to enter and play.

At season’s end, our NRL and AFL winners will each receive a bottle of Penfolds St Henri Shiraz (or prize of equivalent value depending on winner’s preference).

Our competition is being hosted on the ESPN Sports online platform.

When registering, you’ll be invited to choose a display name. A pseudonym is welcome, but as this is a private industry comp wed love to see who is playing along so you’re encouraged to participate under your real name if possible.
