WELCOME to Beef Central’s updated Ag Sector Graduate Program Directory for 2026.
Each year, large companies operating across the livestock production, lotfeeding, processing, export, agency, finance and integrated supply chain space offer graduate programs for university-leavers about to join the workforce.
Feedback from former candidates tells us it isn’t always easy to find out ‘who is offering what, and when’, in the way of graduate program opportunities.
Responding to that, Beef and Sheep Central has established the meat and livestock industry’s first Graduate Program Directory. The latest version, including additional entries and removal of programs where applications have now closed, is published below.
In total, there are almost 140 graduate program placement opportunities across Australia included in this inaugural list. Most programs are targeted at undergraduates about to finish their degrees in agribusiness, ag economics, business, commerce, ag science, animal science or similar fields, but others offer broader intakes.
Not all graduate programs operate on the same entry deadline or program schedules, so we intend to update, amend and republish this list as frequently as necessary through the year, to accommodate different deadlines, changes and new entries. Looming re-publication deadlines will be advised on Beef Central, so new entries can be submitted. Send any inquiries or new entries to nikki@beefcentral.com
Further down on the list below are some other graduate opportunities that are either still in development, or are occurring a little later in the calendar.
- Looking to actively promote your company’s upcoming Graduate Program to potential candidates? Beef and Sheep Central have paid advertising opportunities available for this purpose, frequently used by processors, lotfeeders and others. To discuss options, contact Nikki at this email address.
